king of pops

On another day in Atlanta, I met my friend Kai for coffee at JavaMonkey in Decatur. Kai used to attend UC Law but she missed Georgia too much and transferred after our 1L year. After coffee, we stalked the King of Pops man around Decatur Square until he was ready to sell us popsicles.

All of the pops are hand made, and use locally sourced ingredients. I had a pomegranate margarita and it tasted super fresh. It would have been even better with a little tequila frozen in as well but there was none to be found. King of Pops has carts all over Georgia and the entire Southeast. Take a look at the website for a huge list of flavors and locations. And they deliver!

KaiI’ll be seeing Kai again in July. She’s working in D.C. this summer, and I’m visiting her and my friend Allison for the fourth of July. I am so excited. There are so many food adventures to be had.
