I’m checking things off of my Cincinnati bucket list. Today I had The BonBonerie Opera Cream Cake. I’ve listened to so many native Cincinnatians rave about the cake and how it’s the only one they request for birthdays and special occasions. And let me tell you people, it was chocolate heaven.
The cake is chocolate chip that is then soaked in brandy, crème de café and a vanilla syrup. Then, layers of creamy white icing are added. Next is a chocolate icing, and last chocolate curls are packed onto the sides.
