Saturday morning I had to take the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE). It was two hours of ethics questions for wannabe lawyers and afterwards I was drained, so I went to the City Flea with a few friends. The City Flea is an urban flea market and gathering of food trucks and craftspeople in Washington Park.
There were so many neat vendors, and I’m cursing myself for not buying an Ohio themed t-shirt and not getting the vendor’s name. I hope they’re at the next flea. I did get to eat a lot of great food though. I started my day with dessert. Below is a salted caramel brownie from Sugarsnap. It was a fudgy brownie (not a cake like brownie) which is what I prefer. I’ll definitely purchase another one the next time I see the truck out and about. Click the link to see where Sugarsnap will be any day of the month.
After dessert I moved onto my main, a shrimp and bacon sandwich from Eat Mobile Dining. It was a 15 minute wait but well worth it.
And last I returned to my old favorite Dojo Gelato for a root beer float. “Every time you don’t tip an innocent child gets a mullet.”
